s-13 hicas rear 5-lug?

We are trying to take my buddy's hicas car back to stock and ran into a little problem. The car was converted to 5-lug by the previous owner and when I went to put 4-lug hubs back on the rear I noticed that the stock hubs that I have won't work. It looks to have a set of hicas z-32 rear uprights/spindles and the 5-lug hubs are not removable from the spindles. They are not bolted in with 4 bolts like the s-13 hubs that I have seen. The bearings are pressed into the spindles/uprights and the hubs are pressed into the bearings. Are OE s-13 hicas rear spindles like that? Or do they have removable hubs just like the non-hicas rear uprights? We're trying to figure out what we have to do to take it back to stock and I have not worked on very many hicas cars before so I don't know for sure how the rear hubs are attached stock. Anybody have experience converting the rear of a hicas s-13 to 5-lug? Your help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like it has J30 rear spindles/hubs on it.
You need to find some s13 hicas spindles.

I discovered that you can press out the balljoints in the rear spindle for the hicas toe arms and press them right back into a stock s-13 rear spindle. CRISIS AVERTED! YAY! That means that my buddy that is buying the 5-lug conversion CAN use the rear 5-lug, he just needs to buy some energy bushings to press into the j-30 upright. I am tossing around the idea of him upgrading to the j-30 rear brakes as well as he now has a 30mm 300zx front set-up and the j-30 rears should bring the brake bias a bit more towards the rear. I know that z fronts with 240 rears LOVE to lock up the fronts and this might be a cheap solution for him.

Nice reading skills. The car is already 5lug, he's switching it back to 4lug.
