Currently my 3000gt has rod knock(2 much money to repair). NEways I am looking at cars. Ime intrested in a 240sx but I live in the US so I dont have the luxary of the SR20DET. NEways I was wondering how much I can get the SR20DET for and where can I buy it so I can get prices. Also would I have to change the transmission??

Welcome to the site, and sorry to here about the 3000gt being down and out. As for the questions about the sr20det...it's the same tranny used for the ka, but different belt housing. I suggest a search using sr or sr20det on the search function within our board. Some sites with good faq about the sr: www.srswap.com and www.heavythrottle.com.
