tranny swap q'z

does anyone know if a s-13 tranny can fit on an s-14?

so a tranny from maybe a 89 or 90 would fit in my 95?

that's right. all 240sx transmissions are interchangeable

but why get it out of an 89-90? why not try to find a newer one that could possibly be in better shape n last u longer?

some sensors might be different, i've heard. like you may have to use your 95 sensors instead of the 89 transmission sensors or some crap

have u drove a 5 speed s14 yet? i've never had the chance to drive an automatic, so do u really think u'll like the 5-speed better? (i know i would, but i don't know how much the auto tranny drags the car down)

no i havent driven a 5-speed 240 yet but i've driven a host of 5 speed cars including a 98 M3, 01 328ci, 01 VW gti turbo, a 90 Supra and my friend with a 91 240 won't let me drive his lol so i haven't driven a 5-spd 240 yet.. but i KNOW i want a 5-spd.

oh ok, i was just seein' like how much better it would be cuz i've never driven an auto s14, but i've drove other autos.

i've raced my friend in his 91...... i've got more work done and he always wins..... especially off the line so..... yah <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>
