I'm looking at buying a used STB, and from the pic I was sent, the bar doesn't allow for much clearance with the KA24DE's valve cover, but looks like it can work. I was wondering if the KA24E (or its valve cover) sits higher or lower than a KA24DE, so that I can guage if the STB will work.

Here's a pic of it on a DE.

From that pic i would have to say SOHC sits higher
