Alright so my car wont idle and runs like shit. I just put a motor in it. I did some research on the ecu in the car. Its for a ka24e with 9.1;1 compression. Then i researched the ecu that came with the ka24e i put in it...and the motor i put in the car came stock with 8.6;1 compression. So from what i understand nissan used two different compression ka24e motors in 1989-1990. Do you think that because the ecu in the car is for a higher compression version of the single cam...that it is whats causing the motor to be running super rich? I would imagine so...just want to get a few opinions.
