Putting my shat box back together and I'm semi retarded, or at least thats how I feel asking this question.

don't remember where I took the negative ground cable off from the battery. can i ground it anywhere on the alternater or can it go anywhere

from the factory it goes from the battery, to the battery tray, to the intake manifold
