KA fuel rail & Injector question

I am looking for a fuel rail for my ka and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find one or who amkes a fuel rail for the ka, and I need new fuel injectors they are starting to leak, I dont need anything expensive on the injectors, also is it worth it to put headers on a ka with 153,000 miles on it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You basically have 2 choices.
JWT sells a fuel rail for about $220
Unstable Hybrids sells the rail for $130

Injectors you should get used, and stock size. And get headers if you are going to keep the car for a while, and as long as they are C.A.R.B. certified if you live somewhere ****ty.

I have a set of used RC Engineering injectors for sale right now, I'm asking 200+shipping which isn't bad considering I paid 410.00 for them. They are 275cc, a little bit bigger than stock.

But he has a SOHC KA, and I don't think JWT makes a rail for a SOHC KA. UH can make one...but he doesn't really need a rail, just new injectors.

Basically...SOHC KA injectors leak eventually...your best bet is just to buy some new stock ones.

Venom also makes some fuel injectors for the SOHC. They are like $287 for the set of 4 and flow 10% more fuel than stock and do not require ECU reprogramming to work. Check them out here:

Anybody have a good reason why this setup won't run 10% richer then stock and 10% worse fuel economy?

Anyway, I think the best thing for you to do is either get some new OEM injectors or some used ones in good condition. They are 270cc/min BTW, in case you are looking around for some. I have some used ones for sale that are still in the rail, but you probably want new ones.

On a totally stock car, yes it would run 10% richer. But you would also be able to advance the timing a few degrees for more power as well. On a modified car, you would definately want the additional gas as more air is introduced into the combustion process. Again, 10% more fuel WILL require retuning, but you should expect more power as well.

Through the magic of Venom's marketing claims. Marketing claims don't have to follow the laws of physics.

(If the injectors are larger than stock, then they will run rich. Adding more fuel, even with a timing change, isn't going to net you any significant gains.)
