![]() I am looking for a fuel rail for my ka and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find one or who amkes a fuel rail for the ka, and I need new fuel injectors they are starting to leak, I dont need anything expensive on the injectors, also is it worth it to put headers on a ka with 153,000 miles on it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You basically have 2 choices.
JWT sells a fuel rail for about $220 Unstable Hybrids sells the rail for $130 Injectors you should get used, and stock size. And get headers if you are going to keep the car for a while, and as long as they are C.A.R.B. certified if you live somewhere ****ty. -Jeff

I have a set of used RC Engineering injectors for sale right now, I'm asking 200+shipping which isn't bad considering I paid 410.00 for them. They are 275cc, a little bit bigger than stock.

Basically...SOHC KA injectors leak eventually...your best bet is just to buy some new stock ones. Dennis |

Venom also makes some fuel injectors for the SOHC. They are like $287 for the set of 4 and flow 10% more fuel than stock and do not require ECU reprogramming to work. Check them out here:

Anyway, I think the best thing for you to do is either get some new OEM injectors or some used ones in good condition. They are 270cc/min BTW, in case you are looking around for some. I have some used ones for sale that are still in the rail, but you probably want new ones.

On a totally stock car, yes it would run 10% richer. But you would also be able to advance the timing a few degrees for more power as well. On a modified car, you would definately want the additional gas as more air is introduced into the combustion process. Again, 10% more fuel WILL require retuning, but you should expect more power as well.

(If the injectors are larger than stock, then they will run rich. Adding more fuel, even with a timing change, isn't going to net you any significant gains.) Dennis |
