Burning Smell
Well I decided to race some kids little automatic altima the other day in my 89 240sx with 199k miles and the highest the rpms got was around 5500 before I shifted but afterwords I took the car home and it smelt like something was burning like badly. Just wondering what are some possibilities of this? Their is no smoke coming out of the exhaust. Also I have a headlight delema I have power and I have a ground working but the headlight doesnt come on the fuse is ok too. Anyone had this prob?

I'm with Aubrey. It could be either the brakes or clutch. Where was the smell coming from exactly? I remember my brakes smelling like burnt whatever after I put new pads on them. I guess it was just because I was breaking them and also because they are cheap-ass autozone pads.
