s13 idles rough with maf hooked and smooth with it unplugged

I have a ka24de and I have an injen short ram intake installed on it. I recently just installed dc sports headers. The car runs really rough when the maf is plugged in but runs very smooth when it is unhooked. what could be the problem?

no I can rev it as high as I want. No hesitation. I tried two different mafs and also used maf cleaner as well. There is no cel light either.

I had the same problem. Ended up being my fuel pump sock.

I tried everything:
MAFS
ECUS
New engine harness
Knock sensors
TPS sensor
IACV

Then my last attempt was the fuel pump sock. That fixed my problem. May or may not fix your but worth a shot.

Maybe one of the injectors is having a problem.

Thanks for the help. I finally solved the problem. It ended up being a vacume line that hooks to exhaust manifold.
