I recently got in an accident and must replace my inake and exhaust from my 1997 240sx. Im just wondering if the injen intake in the 97 can fit on the 1996 240sx cause i really dont want to throw it away. thanks for the replies.

I don't see why it wouldn't, they are the same thing no?

even if it somehow doesen't, grab it and sell it on the forums

Actually I don't think it does fit. From every site that I've seen they sell the 95-96 Ingen intake and then they sell the 97-98 intake separately. I'm not sure why but I would just send Ingen an email asking them what to do, and if you can just make some small changes to make it fit.
