CLEAN KA 5-speed trans

This was my original trans it came our of a 1992 s-13. I broke a shift fork at the track and bought another trans off my buddy. I ended up with another blown trans from a customer's car and decided to replace the shift forks and rod assembly. This trans is CLEAN, inside and out. NO metal inside the case and it is SUPER clean. This is probably the only time you will get to see inside the trans you are buying before you buy it. The inside is the most important part. The trans was NOT cleaned before I took the pics of it apart. It comes with the clutch fork, stock shifter, a good throwout bearing, all switches, a s-13 speed sensor, and has been re-sealed.

SOLD!

It has about 180k on it, but I am almost certain it has been re-built. I see paint markings all over the place inside the trans that were not in the donor trans that I stole the shift forks and rods from. No grinding or weird noises at all in the 4 years I was using it for.

I replaced all the shift forks and rods with a set from another trans that shifted and drove fine, it just had a grinding noise on decel in the donor trans. When I pulled THIS trans out of the car it wouldn't go into 5th or reverse and it was hard to get into 3rd and 4th. It now shifts like butter.

Thats a damn good deal.

I just frankensteined my tranny SR w/ KA bellhousing, and i didn't get it as remotely clean as yours.

Shit. How much degreaser did you use?!?!

I cleaned the case in a solvent tank while it was apart. you would have to use a lot of simple green and scrub the hell out of it to get it this clean with degreaser and a pressure washer.
