Ok so at the end of this month I will be moving to California. Right now I'll be either staying in Cupertino or Palo Alto depends on which job I take. I'm selling my DD half BP FC out here and hopefully to buy another when I am out there. I always here and see things about how its illegal to modifier your car ie: it will be crushed, get a ticket, or some shit like that. I live in GA it is not illegal to modifiy your car at all. Does anyone know how the Police are in those 2 areas and how the act torwards modified cars? I just wanna know ahead of time, so I know if I should bother messing with my car or not.

For a second I thought you some how bought Lindsey's FC.

Best bet is buy a DD and leave that car in the garage.

But aren't you going to need to smog your car out here?

Have any friends? If not, better find some.

Keep low key and its all good. For modded cars they are not that strict in norcal compared to some other places i've seen, unless your being a dumbass.

I won't drive like an ass. I'll see what I can about finding some help with smog then. Most of the friends I made out there so far arn't very mechanically inclined. So I hope I do find some car friends.

I got pulled over and had my hood popped today because of my Pink Godzira sticker. Driving like you're supposed to doesn't do shit for you. Do what Zar said and get a DD.

Are they strict about real low or slammed cars? Saw some stupid street racing video on youtube and the cops were measuring from the center of the headlight to the ground. Something like that, not sure if its illegal to be to low in Cali.

The FC is in the process of being sold and I'll just pick up a daily there.

I just got a ticket for being 1/4inch too low. I have an s14 with some kouki sides.. that's it.

i only got pulled over once in my fc, and that was when i cut off a van and drifted a u turn at a no u turn intersection in the rain.

i didn't even get a ticket

granted i didn't have a kit or nice wheels, but i did drive like an asshole all the time and blow off my bov all the time.

I don't plan on driving like an ass anyways lol. I'm just going to sell the FC get a daily and ride low and slow. I need to get rid of the FC anyways I get like 9 or 11 mpg city with it anyways lol and its my DD...... :[

Good idea.

I DD's my fc for a while.

Sucked because it was during the peak of gas prices out here.

But anywhere in norcal you run the high chance of getting ticketed for having anything aside from stock.

Just leave the car in the garage and buy a real DD.

for real, !zar! speaks the god damn truth!!! you'll never see me roll around in my car. but it all comes to this, get a little beater; it will save you money[probably gas too!] and the trouble/bullshit.

Right now for 87 is 1.79$ and 91 is 2.23$ just checked the gas station by my house. I'll PM you about the S14
