When i put a cardboard box by the exhaust its spitting out black stuff and like a fluid with it? what is it. The fluid is more watery also.
ALSOOO at the time right now i had a bad MAF its pretty much not working at all. So let me know what it could be . THANK YOU

the black is fuel. the liquid is probably fuel and/or condensation if it's cold

check your injector o-rings it sounds like you have unburnt gas in your exhaust

bad maf makes the car run retarded.
fix that and you will probably not run so rich.

Black watery fluid sounds like dirty water due to condensation coming from the cold exhaust. lol

off topic and not thread jack, but bad maf can retard timing? Since my ecu (j4) has been repinned and wont be able to check for codes without taking it to shop, should i replace maf first or knock sensor?
