oil feed restrictor question...
I'm minutes away from dropping the motor back in and came across one of my last "loose ends". Since I'm switching up my turbo setup (Disco Potato -> 20G) and reusing my SS lines, I've got to change the restrictor to accommodate the new journal bearing turbo; as apposed to the BB disco potato. I called Forced Performance this morning and after presenting the same question, I was told to completely eliminate the restrictor all together... After some more thought, I got to thinking... I had to use a restrictor for the T25 on my old KA-T, but then again I was taking my oil supply from the oil pressure sensor on the other side of the block. That was a long time ago and now we're talking about an SR20.
Are any of you guys using an unrestricted oil feed line on your journal bearing turbos? Come to think of it, does the stock T25 even have a restrictor?
