greddy profec b spec 2 problem
I have an s13 sr with t25. Here is the problem, i just got this ebc and pretty sure i install it right. Fpr goes to the back of the unit then the hose from the actuator goes to COM on the sender and a port from NO goes to the hotpipe. Correct me if I'm wrong on the installation. Well i drove couple of days with the ebc not turn on (didn't connect the power plug), getting almost 9psi. So today, i got everything done and turn on the boost controller and it doesn't even seem to work. I set the SET to like 0 or 100 % and it still boosting at 9psi. Also try to mess with gain and set gain but still nothing changed. What did i do wrong? Please help me out.

Fix your english. Go to Greddy's website and download the good manual. If you dont know how to use it, I HIGHLY suggest you unhook it. I promise you will blow your motor. 100% gain? Turn everything back to 0. Read the manual. Set it right. Or get it tuned by a shop or local that knows how to use it.

Sorry for the english lol it was like 4am when i wrote it. Well like i told you in the 1st post even if i set the SET to 100%, the boost still won't change. I've already download the manual when i tried to set this unit up but even though i change a setting, the boost still won't change. Lmk what you think?

Yea it sounds like its either hooke up wrong, I would assume mechanically (vaccum lines). Or broke.

here is the picture, with the NC port covered. Also try to see if the actuator is shot or not by taking the hose to the actuator off and running it like that. It ran above 9 lbs just like that. Well i guess the valve unit is broken =(

How about the other module.... The reference boost part that gets a vacuum from the intake manifold t-ed off with the vacuum used for the air fuel pressure regulator....
wtf...

original poster..take the fucking plastic plug out of the side of the solenoid. the lil clear cup shaped thing. vroom vroom huh.. sorry, i thought the point of a forum was to ask and answer questions, not to tell someone the answer of their question is in "the manual" if you dont know the answer and the only thing yo ucan add is "read the instructions" then why post at all? |

again, UPLUG THE 3RD EMPTY PORT IT NEEDS TO BE OPEN THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. take the toilet paper and tape out of it!!!
and set your boost and gain at something like 60% and 8% gain because when you take that little ball of shit out of your solenoid, its going to actually work have fun. |

did u plug the solenoid into the unit? did u push enter everytime u set ur boost? do u have an aftermarket wastegate? if u did hook everything up right then theres no way u could be turning it up and down and see no change.

Also as i posted in earlier post, why is my idle on the profec lcd read about 22-25 lb which is like 220-240 on the lcd. Shouldn't it be something in the -90 or something?

It should read like -22 PSI or something like that... Did you are idle fine before this? When you remove the whole system does it drive fine?

Well it drives fine even with the system connected. The only thing happen is that i can't set my boost no matter what. Also, my idle has always displayed like that ever since i hook up the unit.
