Hey guys me and my buddy are trying to fire up his S14 with the S13 SR.

Hes got a Power FC with MAP only, no MAF. When we crank the car over the FC shuts off, and we arent getting any spark, but the fuel pump is running while we're trying to crank the car, but still not getting a fire.

Any ideas, is it because the FC is shutting off during cranking or is that normal.

Also he bought his FC used from a member on here, and it still has the old tune that the other guy had on his car. My friend changed the injector values, but thats it. He also turned off boost control. Is there a way to set the FC back to a bone stock SR tune?

we'll if your not getting spark...

then check your spark plug gap.
check your coilpacks
check your coilpack subharness make sure everything is grounded properly.
check your igniter.

pull out your multimeter and check power to the following above^

Thanks, we'll get on that. I already tried grounding out the coil with a screw driver to the intake manifold and got nothing at all, so I'm gonna get the multimeter and check the coils and igniter.
