RB IM from NICO

hello everybody. i, apperently, just add myself into this family. I've wanted to get in here like after i was in NICO for about a month but laziness proved once again that it is the strongest force known to man next to a sexy women butt naked. I just wanted to see the difference between our (NICO) family and you guys family. So let me just say hello to all my cuz'ns especially to my south jersey and philly cats.

back to business:
by the end of this summer, i'll have enough money to purchase the RB20DET motor. I checked around to find out who can do a swap like this for a reasonable price. I found several but the problem is that they are all in cananda and or cali. My question is, does anyone know were i can go to get this done. If not, does anyone know how much it will cost for me to ship my car out to a shop and have them do it for me.

Unstable Hybrids has done one. Check out the projects section. They are in Atlanta I believe.

Also talk to umm Grumpy (I don't know where he has been as of late) but he has an RB25 in an S13 coupe with R32 tails, and silvia front.

Also DLSRacing on 240sxforums.com has an RB20 i think, they should give you some more info on it.

Welcome to the boards, good luck.

There's a thread in Tech about the rb25 (essentially same block as the 20), apparently it isn't as tough a swap as some folks make it out to be. I've decided that if my KA ever dies, this is what I'll look at for a replacement.

Definitely check out McKinney Motorsports They are working on essentially an rb25 kit, will probably have all sorts of great information.
