Intake or exhaust?

For the KA24DE...

Which mod helps more with the gains? Intake ? Or exhaust?
I've always thought the intake gains more than the exhaust but I heard the opposite from a friend.

Anyone have the answer?

depends on which intake and which exhaust you're considering.

N1 Duals should net you around 10-12 hp to the ground, Injen CAI is somewhere around 5-7 hp to the ground. At least this is all from what people have said with their experience with these, so the N1 Dual will net you more power.

You have to get both in order to gain some power... And add an header to complete the setup... I doubt you'll put more than 20whp with the basic i/h/e bolt-ons.

Not even close. I would bet that both of those combined might net you 10hp to the wheels, max.

well, having the n1 dual... i would say go with the n1 first. it'd give you more power than the CAI would, so why not go ahead and get it first. just save up and then buy the intake... 2 great mods that'll make you're car feel like it should.

If you are gonna do them both anyways then why are you debating on which one to get first based on hp gain? I would choose based on price/money atm and which one you want more(looks, sound, etc.)
