cleaning throttle body, and stalling problems

ok i searched and it seems to be a common problem. my engine dies when i put it in neutral, like my rpm drops too fast. its a sr20 btw. i noticed it usually drops in hot weather, so maybe is related to hot air. when i drive like early in the morning the rpm doesnt drop as quickly so it wont stall. so i cleaned out maf and today just cleaned out throttle body but my car was having problems. tell me if i was cleaning out the TB the right way or not.

i sprayed some TB cleaner into it while moving the butterfly valve manually for a few seconds. then when i would start the car it would have problems, like it wouldnt start unless i crank it for awhile and gave it some gas. and once it would turn on the idle would be rough for awhile and this think smoke started coming out from my exhuast. i would leave my car on for awhile to get rid of the smoke. then i started again with spraying the cleaner into my TB and turning it on again. is it normal that this happens in the beginning?

and can someone tell me where the coolant temp sensor is located? a picture would help cuz i cant tell where it is.

any help would be appreciated. thanks
