Ka24e automatic harness on a manual transmission Problems
I swapped out a ka from a working car and I am using an automatic harness on manual transmission. I believe everything is wired right. I already got everything installed; engine cranks, has good fuel, spark and good compression 180 cold. If timing scale on crank pulley is at 15 (4 from the left 1 from the right) it misfires like hell.If timing scale is set at 0 the motor will just crank. I was thinking maybe it was a harness problem but wth do I know??!!
What do you guys think it is? |

It's not a harness problem, especially because the transmission has nothing to do with the engine. Sounds more like the timing is still off, reset it.
