Has anyone ordered from Takakaira.com?

www.takakaira.com
They have tons of cool stuff but it looks like shipping would be a lot. Any info would be good.
Thanks

Well, since they are getting their parts directly from their sources in Japan, you should expect at least a 4-6 week wait for most parts (unless they actually have what you are looking for in the wherehouse here, hmm, do they even have any wherehouses here in the states)?

Anyways, yeah I am curious as to how reliable they are as well, since I might want to order some stuff from them when I finally get some money.

I've requested several quotes from them, all of which were answered promptly and politely. However, due to the pretty ridiculous shipping costs (that's what you get when you order straight from the horses mouth!) I have not yet ordered anything from them...

It costed me about $200+ to ship a West Yokohama hood and S15 conversion headlight kit via Nippon Express with TakaKaira. That's not that expensive. Their service was good, and their delivery date was on schedule, actually 2 days earlier too. The price for the parts are somewhat inexpensive if you convert the yen to dollar value.

The only thing I hated was going to U.S. customs to clear the item. You can't pick up the parts until you clear customs. Then I had to pick up the hood with my friend's crappy truck at Nippon Express. They don't deliver. Didn't try other shipping methods.
