Well me and my roommate have had a hookah for awhile, and i cant find any really really good shishah (hookah tobacco). I have found some alright stuff, but i want quality. I was wondering if anyone was into hookah and knows good websites to order shishah off of or areas near tacoma or seattle. I want stuff so strong it tastes like biting into fruit or pie lol..thanks!!

Im into it, The trick is cut fruit and mix it your self. Make sure you dont burn it so it have flavor.

because you cant smoke pie or fruit, i havent tried but common sense tells me it wouldnt work. Plus i enjoy the act of smoking hookah, and it gives my teeth a nice break from eating sweets.

We use apples and cut out the core and place the shishah inside. works great!! the flavor is awesome and smooth. If your in UCLA, Westwood area anytime you should check out Gypsy cafe' it's by far one of the best hookah bar that I have found in So Cal. yo, hookah's my shit.

go out to some local hookah bars and ask around while lounging around. that's how my friends and i found all the shops and bars here in philly. internet is... well, the internet. that's all the advice i got.

They had them in the desert while I was deployed, but i never took the time to hit it. Plus it always seemed they were smoking the froo froo shisha, i would have rather smoked some Turkish tobacco through it.

www.saharasmoke.com i sell the shit for a living. ive also tried 300+ cigars and every cigarette that can be legally sold in america. there are ways to optimize the whole hookah experience pm if u want. and as far as sharing the mouthpiece goes, they make sleeves that tip the hose so no germy goodness going around.

Al Fakher tobacco has never failed me.

try mixing orange and mint.

and make sure you're packing it right. alot of small holes works best.

I have a Hookah, but I haven't used in a while.

It's no fun smoking by yourself; smoking the hookah is definitely a social thing. I just wish it was a little stronger (probably haven't tried the right tobacco).

If you're looking to buy one, don't buy one at a brick-and-mortar store. Way overpriced.

Go online and research some of the vendors.

www.socialsmoke.com is where I bought mine. No regrets and they have great specials.

No. Hookah smoke is much denser and lasts longer. A session between two people lasts anywhere from 30-60 minutes.

I don't get the same buzz as I do smoking cigs either.

i used to hookah quite a lot because i live in an area that has a persian market w/ good hookah tobacco. =D hookah was one of those phases where id get all hyped up about something and then soon get over it.
my advice is to pack it, and if you are going to mix flavour, be sure to add some mint(its key for making good mixes).

Stick with Al Fakher or Al Amir. Once you get decent tobacco the trick is in how you make the head. You want it all plucked properly with no stems, not packed too tight, and a good hole design. Once you add the foil and prick all the holes blow into the bottom of the head. Coal placement on the head also makes a huge difference. It all depends on what size head and coal you have. Last but not least try to clean the hose every couple heads or if you switch flavors a lot.

ive got 2 hookahs, one single hose and one dual hose...its good to just fire up the hookah, chill, drink and talk shit with friends when u dont feel like going out...have u tried putting ice in the water? makes it feel less harsh when hitting it and makes the smoke a lot thicker then usual...

as mentioned above, if u go to local hookah bars (authentic mediterranian) most of them will sell you the tabacco that they use, which is usually good quality but expect to pay somewhere around $20-$40 depending on the size of the tub, and always keep ur tabacco refrigerated after use

I used a hookah one time and I didnt really feel it. Maybe I wasnt hittin it right or somethin but it was real tough to actually get smoke in your lungs. Maybe it was the tobacco, who knows
