Now i know that the SR is like one of the best engines that we can swap into our 240's. And that they are pretty much race only engines. My queston is.. is there anyone out there that has got an SR swap, and been able to pass the Emmisions testing??? Is there some kind of trick that you  could tell me? I plan on getting the swap in the next few months, and unfortunately i live in ST Louis where we have to have our cars emmisions tested. now im about to get mine tested here in november, and probably  do the swap in early january or so. So ill have a little time to worry about figuring it out. I am just curious as to if anyone has passed the testing without "knowing someone in the business" if you know what im saying. So any ideas are welcome!

i couldn't really tell u how, i just know there's a small town about 3 hours away from where i live, n if u know the right person then u can pass it. i don't think there would be much of another way around it besides knowing somebody or paying someone off. try a local import shop, most of the ppl at car shops r pretty cool n won't like turn u over to the police or nething like that even if they don't think it's right. they probably hook ppl up that have bought turbos n stuff off of them before. is there nebody in here that has an sr or turbo kit n is actually street legal?

shit waht mag was it? i just read in turbo i think the one with the white supra on the cover! I think thas the one there is a company that was starting a SR swap into a s13 I believe and they were going for a emissions legal swap? they havn't completed it yet thouhg I cant wait to see!

Yep nissantuner you're right. Its Motorex, the same company that imports Skyline GT-R's,  they are trying to get the sr20 swap carb legal. So contact them.
