pipe ?? help please.

If you are facing the radiator the top left hose that goes into the motor and there is a pipe there that receives the hose. The pipe that catches the hose or where the hose goes in it has deteriorated. Can this pipe be replaced?

In the picture I circled the pipe with blue circle. The pipe is deteriorating and water is leaking on it. That picture is not a picture of my car.

Thanks for the help

IIRC its pressed in
You could, but youd have to remove all of the old pipe, find the same diameter pipe and press it in....

Or just replace that whole section of the IM with another

^ yeah its pressed in there, you'll never be able to do it correctly with the manifold on the car. I would just source another upper intake manifold and be done with it. Might as well service the IACV while you're there and check for other corrosion issues with all the lines/connections.

I noticed that the aftermarket manifold and the pipe that is for the cooling system is only a straight pipe. The original manifold pipe also has a little pipe for the hose that goes to the block. why is the aftermarket only have a straight pipe? Is the the small pipe not necessary? thanks.
