This is what I came out to find when I went out to my car yesterday on my way to class. It was parked along the street and I was the middle car (between two other cars). My friend thinks it was probably a drunk driver that hit my car. No notes or anything were left. MAN, this is the 5th time in 2 1/2 years my car has been hit and ALL of them were on the Driver's side of the car. 4 of the 5 times, the car was PARKED. AH, this is so aggrovating! Happened to my Crown Vic two summers ago, I came out and found a 2ft long dent in my rear passenger side door. Why do people run? They're naive and unwilling to take responsibility for their own actions/mistakes. If noone sees it, it never happened. Sorry about your poor luck man.

I think should stop parking in the street or something!!! or maybe leave the 240 at home and ride a bike....or you could be like me and park out near the back of lot just so things like that don't happen to my car!
Sucks though....good luck with cacthing the criminals behind it!

I really try not to park on the street around my place, but recently there has been a ton of cars that have parked around there so the parking lot I usually park in was full and I was forced to park on the street. Other times my car has been hit include TWICE on a 3 Lane wide ONE WAY street. I can't wait to have my own parking spot or my own garage.
I have been walking around my block checking out cars looking for signs of damage on other cars that correlate to the damage on my car. Nothing yet. The driver probably ran either 1) Intoxicated/Under the influence, 2) Scared, 3) Uninsured or a combination of all of these. Yeah, I do have full coverage on the car, just a $500 deductible. No problem on paying that, since my tax refund is coming soon. Although this is not what I was ORIGINALLY planning on spending my money on my car for, but oh well. Hmm, maybe I can get my insurance to get my car a FULL paint job, guess that would actually make it worth my time. Oh yeah, Lauren, that's a good idea with maybe taking an ad out in the local paper, might look into doing that. Tim '95 SE |
