j30 brakes

I went to the junk yard today, and found a j30, i was consitering taking the brakes from it. But first i have a few questions:

#1 Will they fit
#2 Do they suck? Do are they good? Or are they just as good as mine.
#3 If i was to do a 5 lug conversion, woud that work?

1. Beats me
2. if they have more then one piston most likey they are better!
3. if they have a 114.3 bolt patern maybe and also if they fit the 240 caliper braket bolts

Yes, they'll fit in the front. You'll need a 5 lug conversion to use the rears because they have the drum parking brake like a 300ZX. The fronts you can just redrill.

Do they suck? Nah... IIRC they're the same as Q45 brakes in the front (280x28mm rotor, 2-piston caliper) and probably in the back too.

I'm in the middle of adapting the Q45 rear e-brake assembly to my 4 lug setup. It looks like a simple spacer will suffice to fill in the gap where the 5 lug hub originally was. I might just take the 5 lug hub and cut off the section that's sandwiched between the e-brake bolt and the backing plate.
