That is a total loss?! I think my car looks worse than yours. I need to start rebuilding my car too bad insurance isn't paying for mine though.

How did you smack your front end? Mine kissed a gaurd rail.

i like the silver best. why not the blakc? looks like a snow plow. if you dont pay attention to the parkinglot cement blocks BAM cracked bumper easily. lose a little more room. anywyas, the silver is so sleek and clean and smooth. very classy. damn i wish I had a zenki s14. stupid s13

I did a 97/98 front end conversion after my accident. I can see why they claimed it a total loss. You probably bought the car at a good price (low)....also parts for the 240SX are NOT CHEAP when its thru a body shop.

But in your case I would get the Bomex front bumper (UAD-110)

TRUST ME.....this bumper looks good and very close to stock.

Total loss??? Are they crazy or something? What do you have to replace? Hood, light, grill and rad support? That can't be worth a total loss!

I know the feeling. Our cars are VERY rare here in NE Oklahoma. Parts are EXTREMELY hard to find--not a single junkyard here has a single '95-'98.

Judging from the pics, it doesn't even look like you damaged your radiator support. How much was the "repair estimate" and how much did they tell you your car was worth? I can't get over the fact that you bought it back for $500! Who's your insurance company? They obviously don't know the value of your car!! j/k

Sorry to hear about your wreck. Keep us posted on the rebuild! Is it drivable (other than the headlight missing)?

Parts add up, my front end was actually cheaper than the estimate I recieved from a body shop that wanted to total my car.

Here is a pic of my car......the estimate was $3300

Also...my front end cost me $2100 (w/paint).

if you really want to get an aftermarket kit get the silver one posted above, it is sooooo nice, and not too flashy, but still stands out.

But I still love the stock bumper with a gracer lip, so sexy

well the total from nissan dealership was 4700$, so i got a second one for about 4100. and they said car was only wroth 5500 so its a total loss or something.. but eya.. they wanted to replace hood, bumper, both headlights, the core support, ALL the bumper supports(which werent touched) i hit the rear end of a 87 pickup, and it went OVER my bumper which is what hurt the worst.. but i just bent my core support forward 2 inches.. i even got the crumpled hood to completely latch today but im not driving it.. the radiator and a/c condensor are both find they just bent back at the top a little, but still were full.. so im getting out real cheap here.. just not sure what happens if i put say 2k or 4k if i go with gp sports body kit back into my car.. how much do i get if i crash again.. zero? because its already been totaled or what? im still waiting to here back from my insurance company on this.. trying to declare it modified street rod HAHAHA!! it kinda will be with a kit and other aftmkt parts i have on it

Yea....they always want to REPLACE parts....besides REPAIRING the body.

It's funny how both of our accidents involved his some old pickup. You also have the same color as me.
