I ilke these Focal F5's. I find them dope as ####, but there is a wheel offset like there is for every other car...so what is it for the 240?? http://www.focalwheels.com/flash.htm. after you go there, go to Race Wheels. then choose the F5 wheels. the offset's and stuff are to the left and the wheel is at the bottom. anyone else like them? dislike them? well, do any of those offset's work with the 240? thanks

Don't take this personally...
I think most Focal rims are UUUGGGLLYYY! Especially the F5's and F10's.
I'm not sure about the offset.

it's now between the F5's and RH M5's!!! sorry guys, you may not like them, but I dig 'em and think they'd look bomb on the 240.

I still think they're ugly, but they aren't ricey. Rims, no matter how disgusting, are not rice.

Zexel, got a pic of the RH M5's?

http://www.racinghart.com/model.asp?mkid=20 it's the 1 pc that I like better. I'm basing myself on the Racing Hart's. No Focal's anymore. I compared and the RH M5's are soooo much better.

Simple...but I like simple.;) Those are 10 times better looking than the focals. But if I had to pick between the wheels on the page you linked to, I'd go with the 3-piece M6...those look badass IMHO.

can someone post a pic of the focals? I'm pretty sure I know what they look like, but when I goto there website the riceriffic animations slow my 56k connection down to a standstill Those M5's look good though.

Lance: I like the M6 1-pc and 3-pc. the only reason I like the M5's better (1 pc) it's cause I just want a simple 5-star rim to be able to show off my brake kit. when I get it of course. planning ahead hear. but those M6's are dope.

CA18guy: If I remembered how to post pics, I would. I tried before but it didn't exactly work. not on this post but on another one. but maybe someone can find you the pic. link: http://www.focalwheels.com/flash.htm but you have to go through the whole website to find the pic of the F5.

DrifterX: No, I'm still curious though.

Lance and Vancouver,
I think u guys misunderstood me.
I said FOCALs are Ricey (look at the s10's for god sake, a guy down the street has like 19" or something, bleh). Okay, so maybe my viewpoints are skewed cuz I learned under the tutilage of the japanese scene but you guys have to admit there's better wheels to be had by far. I tend to like PERFORMANCE over looks, but then drifting puts lots more stress on my wheels than going in a straight line ^_^

gimme enkei, Volk, or ADVAN!
(Mmmm... advan...)

Ne wayz, just didn't want u guys thinkin I thought ALL wheels are ricey. Just focals and cheap knockoffs

Yeah, I know. Don't let my opinion of what looks best decide which rim you get. Everybody has their own opinion.
And for the life of me I can't remember what my offset is. I want to say 38 or 40 for 7.5" wide rims, but don't quote me on that.

I know what you meant. Rice is just advertising something you don't have. Ugly rims are just bad/different taste. Even focals and cheap knockoffs are not rice. I highly doubt a slammed S10 with 19" rims is going for speed...they're going for show. You think show cars are rice? If so, you're wrong. Don't get me wrong, I like speed alot more than show, but I'm not gonna down someone for doing alot of aesthetic modifications as long as they leave off the false advertisements and mis-badging. Of course, it would be alot better if they had the go to back it up...but maybe they don't care about going fast...they just want to look different.

Lance,
I hear ya. And no, I don't think all show cars are rice. Most show cars have power too (most); and that I respect. I'm just jaded cuz I live in an area that is FULL of slammed civic, 200lb body kits, altezza lights, and vinyl galore. With two major universities only 8 miles apart, and no major city for 500 miles, ppl here haven't got much to do.
My definition of rice: all show, no go.
Show cars have go.
Rice cars have lots of pretty stuff that weights down their car and screams "look at my car! I'm mad fast yo! cuz I got a chrome tip on my stock civic dx exhaust to go with my 20" knockoff rims". This kind of thing is the norm wehre I live.
I guess I'm just fed up. *shrug*
you can only burn so many civics and accords before u just shake your head and sigh when you see one roll up on you and revv, noticing his improperly lowered car's wheels are cambered in. ^_^
-end rant

not being rude or cruel about this, but trust me, I want just as much fast as you guys do. just I wouldn't mind a lil show here and there. wheels are probably the only cosmetic I will put on the exterior, that makes a HUGE difference on how the car looks anyways. so I mean, wheels can make or break a car, period. but to be honest with you, you have to try different looks to be original. well I wouldnt' say original, but I'd say "to your liking" ilke Lance said. so does anyone else know the wheel offset??

but remember: optimum offset will change with wheel width.

I'm willing to bet you can call/email customer service at www.tirerack.com and they'll be able tell you the right offset you need if you tell them the rim width.

Zexel, I think it's 42mm for the S13 on 7". and I just got the F5's. Beautiful wheels! Everybody has different tastes but these wheels offer something a little different.
