Need major power fc help in here.

s14 sr20det Setup:

.020 over sized, stock compression pistons
Eagle Rods
hks 264 intake cam and 272 exhaust cam
Tomei 740cc injectors
t28 turbo

I just put the engine in and planned on running/tuning a little but I can barely get the thing to run. I think my problem is the injector settings. It is running super rich and wont hold an idle at all. The car won't start without me giving it a little bit of throttle to coax it.

Current injector settings:
1) 50% .08ms
2) 50% .08ms
3) 50% .08ms
4) 50% .08ms

It is running super rich and I have literally taken out all the fuel that the maps will allow you to take out in the lower rpm range. It does not affect the afr's. I sit right at 10:1ish. The only time that I do see the AFR's come into range is when I mess with the injector correction and lower it from 1.0 to ~.6 ish

does anyone have any suggestions so that I can get it running and properly break this engine in?

Apexi PowerFC FAQ

This should help you with you're troubles. IMO get it to someone that can tune it right. If you do it yourself and aren't familiar with the fc you will most likely never get it right.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A JOB FOR.....

DUN DUN DUN

STEEEEVE SHADOWWWWSZSZ.

but yeah, I've only heard things of legend about mr shadows and he offers remote tuning. I understand you're trying to learn to do it yourself, and I like that, but I think the best way is going to be getting a pro to do it, then pick their brain about why they're doing what they're doing.

edit: Look up Steve Shadows in the member list, he'll get you fixed up right, and he doesn't come off as the elitist jerk type to me, but I'm a prick, so who knows.

I hope with those mods you and no tune you expect your car to run. The PFC cannot adjust idle for those cams. Contact steve shadows to get you a base map. Even with 20 over, its going to affect the initial settings of the pfc.

I was gonna say, you should be able to adjust for the injectors and limp the car around for a while, not putting any load on it and not getting into boost......this worked for me.....

But the cams screw things up pretty good I bet, to the point where the base map that comes with the PFC is not good enough....my guess at least
