opinionize my turbo setup

ok this is my setup..

93' S13 DOHC KA.

K's T3 .60, .63 stage 3 wheel
JGS turbo Manifold
Vortech RRFPR
HKS FMIC 24"X 8" X 3"
Tial 35mm Wastegate
Stock injectors
stock Maf
custom IC piping
Apexi' twin chamber BOV
Walbro 225/lphp fuel pump

i know that my fuel is just a bandaid covering a gash,
but i will be running 5-7 psi for now..
then next month i will get 370's and my S-AFC
am i missing anything?
what do you guys think?
i will post pics up when i can get my friends digi...
oh this is all on stock internals...

If I were you (which I'm not, hence the opening statement), I would ditch the HK$ intercooler, get a speaco just because they are a) better and b) cheaper. Then use that money to get a better fuel system. 370cc injectors are good, AFC is not so good. The AFC is $300, plus 2 hours (at least) on the dyno. That is another $200-$300. So even the $300 afc, the minimum $200 dyno tuning, and knocking off the $80 RRFPR, you could have a plug-and-play JWT ecu.
Just my thoughts tho.

Is there any specific goal you want to reach with your turbo setup? Other than "gotta GO FASTER"? Eventhough that's my goal forever.

the RRFPR and fuel pump (as much as I would not go that route) should be fine for low boost. Although, getting a JWT ECU and 370cc injectors would be a "better" way to go. Really, you could get away with using the stock fuel pump with the JWT. So... what RRFPR are you getting anyways? The Vortech SFMU is well over $200 IIRC.

As for the IC, you probably know JGS makes IC's that I think have Spearco cores (they use the Spearco equivolent flow charts on their page.....). You can get a "Starion style" IC for like $400, with pretty similar dimensions to the HKS you were looking at.

Bah, a dyno tune isn't really necessary with a SAFC. Just putting it in with an approriate adjustment for the injectors, and mafs if you have one has to be at least as good as any FPR setup, probably better.

Also, using a RRFPR and a SAFC together can give you some good tuning options.

well the thing is these are all the things i have already and ready for install...
the SAFC i get for 100. homie hook up..lol...dyno tunes are free for me...
my goal is at 225 and under.. nothing more till i start tinkering with internals... but i just want a daily driver with kick and something i could auto X in...
i think my setup will get me in about the 210 range...
and more will come after the injectors and Safc..

i heard that stock injectors can handle up to 7psi...thats just what i heard though so correct me if my statements wrong...

with this setup i plan on running only 5-7 psi...
as i upgrade at decent rate but surely, then i will turn up...
i know i could have done wwaayy better with the fuel.. but money issues got to me... and plus i got a lot of this stuff on the hook up...

oh and ace... you gave me the turbo oil feed list... what turbo are you running because my turbo might be different i run a KKK's turbo so im not sure if the list you gave me was a universal fit for most turbos..my turbo doesnt have a center housing that you could just plug fittings into.. it looks like i will need to buy flanges or adapters to plug anything in it.

your setup is very similar to the one im building for my 95 240... the question i have is... you're running the tial 35mm external wastegate... i will be ordering a manifold from JGS very soon and was wondering where the external wastegate is placed on the manifold. are you going to run an open atmosphere wastegate or dump it into the downpipe? this is the last part of the setup that has me scatching my head on what i am going to do. thanks alot!

stock injectors are good up to like 4psi. 7psi with an FMU and better fuel pump.

the oil feed list is pretty universal. Notice I didn't specify for the oil feed fitting on the center section, as on mine it's like a 10mm metric fitting, but on others it'll be different. cdigity has a KKK turbo. You might want to see if you can contact him about the fitting he used on his center section.

i used the oil feed and drain fittings from jgs
which i believe are the same as the t-3 t-4
fittings(at least thats how they listed them on there site)
i also have a k-27 which has fittings on the center housing
i even have water cooling fittings that im not using

the holes on your housing should be threaded
therefore you shoudnt need any flange
at least thats how mine is
oh and i am running 5-7 psi on stock injectors
with stock ecu and vortech s.f.m.u.
that is until my additional injector controller is
programed cause right now they are not working

ok i drew (very crappily) a picture of the center oil housing of my turbo..and attached below..
the one on top: the center hole is not threaded but the outer 2 are (looks like it needs a adapter.)
the one on bottom: once again the center hole is not threaded but the outer 2 are. (looks like it needs an adapter.)

are the inlet and outlet adapters pictured on the WWW>JGSTOOLS.COM/TURBO website what i need to get for this?.

or did you get yours elsewhere?
since Porshe uses the KKK's series turbo, do you know if they would carry these adapters if i really need them..??

oh yah Cdigity.. i m assuming the side with the bigger hole is the feed side.. and the one with the smaller hole is the dump side? correct me if im wrong.

JGS is ignoring their emails right now.. so i wsa wondering if i can go get the inlet and outlet adapters somewhere else besides JGS? anyone know of any place? l
i was thinking porshe because porshe uses the KKK turbos..so i was thinking they would carry those adapters.

Billet T4, T3, TD05, & GT-series oil inlet and outlet flanges
(T3 & T04 series Inlet- 1/8" NPT)

its the fist picture in the TURBO ACCESSORIES page on the JGS website..
