stretching EMT/runflat tires

well i got a hook up on some used vette tires, 275/40ZR18 Good Year Eagle EMTs (extended mobility tire) i can get them to inflate and seat but after i inflated them the outter bead just slid back down the barrel and didnt stay seated..

are they too stiff to stretch ? or do i jsut need to leave them inflated longer before i adjust the pressure?

oh and i am putting the 275/40s on some 18x11.5" wheels if that helps

haha 90psi? im not trying to get killed by the tire....

like said i can get it seated but if the pressure is below like 30 psi at all, the front bead slides back lol
the only reason this is bad, is if i end up with a flat my wheels are f**ked..

any one else on here run EMT/runflats?

Those Eagles are sooooo freaking stiff. They might need the extra psi and time for the sidewalls to conform to being stretched. I remember mounting some of those Eagles. They were a BITCH!
