yeah thats what im saying, actually arizona issued it a state vin# and state title, i actually have the car registered in south dakota because thats where im from and will be moving back to shortly so the car actually has south dakota title now, so its not likes its just legal in arizona its just like any other car, you could register in cali yes.

Correct me if i'm wrong but you should be able to register this in socal since it has a vin and state title you just gotta make it pass smogg....

hrmm maybe i was wrong...but i thought the only way to get one in was reassemble it as a kit car (and get the kit exemption license) or register it as a 240sx...i think the main problem would be the engine (as it isnt an engine that was ever domestically released)..liike i said, maybe i was wrong..sorry if i got neone confused

Thats if you are importing the car from out of the country, its already here in the U.S., has a title, and VIN. So as long as it can pass smog in cali, you can register it in cali.

**note to buyers- just get a picture of his title sent to you and bring that to you insurance and DMV, if they say they can make it work, buy it. Take extra precautions if you are from Cali... i'm not sure about registering it in that state, even if it has a US title

acrtually the only way to register this car in california is if you have paperwork from the epa stating it meets the criteria, and it must have a carb barcode on the hood, otherwise you have to illegally register it some how.

another thing those kit car registrations do not apply to the skyline, kaizo, a kit car does not resemble a production vehicle in any way, california is really strict.

but the seller already assured me he would put it in writing that this can be registered in california, and will return your money back if you can not register the car. so i say go for it.

if you can provide a picture of the vin# i can ask my local chp/ state ref whether this vehicle can be registered here. also what is the jdm chassis # can you send me a pic of that as well. Which registered importer was this imported by?
