i searched but could not find a specific thread for this. post a pic or description for an item and other members will provide with information on where to get it, and the best place to buy from.

several times i have wished for such a thread.

i suppose i will start it off:

i have been searching for cheap "this will do for now" air filters for early model ('69-'72) SU carburetors, the cheapest i can find is around $35 each, and i need two of them! anybody know where i can get some cheap shit?

please delete if this is a repost (i have searched extensively).

im sorry, i should have been more specific.

if i could find a stock airbox, that would work great too.

however my Z is a '73 and therefore it has the gay carbs, i picked up the "roundtop" SU's off a '72 and would like to throw them on but i have no filter of any kind. finding a stock one is pretty rediculous. so i am left with the option of aftermarket air cleaners.

here are the K&N ones for example ($65 each).

oh and im sorry, i lied in my previous post. the cheapest i can find is $45 each.
