Shifter Question...wtf?!
I have no idea where I should post this, but it's quite a simple question. The spring underneath the shifter plate....the assembly that comes off with the stick...on the transmission side, what the hell is that spring for?! It has a ball bearing underneath it...someone let me know before I put my motor back in...I bent the damn spring and have no idea what to do.

Yeah, They get bent all the time when people swap shifters cause the spring sits an inch out of the hole unladen. Not a critical spring tension. Just makes the shifter feel centered.
