ok our trannies recommend gl-4 gear lube 75w 90. i work at pepboys and all we have is gl-5 75w 90. my question is r these interchangeable and/or what is the difference. thanx in advance.

Unless we have brass peices in our tranny's, (and I'm pretty sure we don't) GL-5 is fine.. and will actually be better than GL-4..
