4-5 Lug Conversion - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

I've heard that a 4-5 lug conversion could be done through purchasing a pair of axels of a fair lady and placing them onto a S13-S14 for the conversion therefor giving the 240 5 lugs, bigger braking system and maybe a fairlady differential? Not too sure bout the diff. But I wana know is that true? And is this method best for conversion and why

And I've also seen that Ichiba provides a 5 Lug conversion kit to purchase straight up. I'f done so would i then need to buy a new braking system? The rims are a given. And is the method of conversion best? And why?

lol,
u can use the "fairlady"/ z32/300zx rear hubs for your rears,
bt not the fronts. u can also buy ichiba's all around.
and you wont need a new braking system,
unless u want to upgrade son.
if your doing it its gunna take a while.
its quite easy.

myself i have s14 se all around 5 lug

either get the ichiba hubs or buy them used in the FS section from someone. you'll definitely save more time and you'll know they're reliable then swapping them from somethin and else probably goin thru trial and error. but when i did my swap i upgraded to j30's, with of course new rotors and pads. depending on what you wana do?? I jus decided to do it all at one time especially since i got the brakes pretty much free =)). good luck homie.

p.s. - like everyone else said..try the search button sometimes, it helps =)
