225 will fit fine with the right rim width and the right offset. I've heard of people running 235's. I have 225/45/16's on 7.5" rims, but I can't remember the offset. I wouldn't put them on anything less than 7.5" rims.

I can't remember the stock width. If stock is 6.5", NO. If stock is 7.0", well....yes but I really wouldn't recommend it. If you use a tire that's too wide for the rim, your sidewalls point inward and the handling gets mushy.
