frozen and stripped screw
Its a sr20, the IACV valve screw, the idle adjustment screw is frozen and freaking stripped. I tried cutting a parallel to get a flat head in there and it worked but that thing wont budge, soaked it in PB blaster, no dice. What are my options? my car idles like crap because of this.

heat. and kroil will work better then pb blaster. im not sure were to get it tho, my friend gave me a can
![]() the heat from a propane torch might be suficiant enough.. just be careful not to strip the cut you made. you could try useing a lighter too, it works sometimes. heat it a little and try to loosen it up. if it gets stuck again repeat the procedue. maybe time consumeing but easy

true, if you know how to use it. but id still heat ut up first to try to get it a little loose. then use the impact.
