fuel pump electrical issues?
okay so i jsut fixed the coilpack issue with my car, now the damn fuel pump doesnt want to turn on. i originally had a walboro in there, and swapped a stock one in to see if it even turns on. long story short, i tried 3 known and working fuel pumps and all of them didnt prime with the key on the on position.
i made sure i wired everything correctly i checked for 12v at each side of the black/pink-red wire near the battery made sure 12v was at each end of my fuel pump harness in the tank made sure there was ground going to it swapped in 2 fuel pump relays made sure my alarm didnt have a fuel pump kill now i am dry out of ideas again. can someone point me in the right direction???? |

update: so i checked for 12v at the relay in the fuse box. so heres what i found, 2,3,5 circuits have 12v power when switched on, but circuit 2 shows no power at any time. is this normal?
secondly i hot wired a wire directly from the battery to the fuel pump, and voila i get fuel through the priming circuit. i was thinking about bypassing the whole fuel circuit and making my own wiring. heres what its going to look like. wiring looks like this.-------------------------------(Relay) Battery(+)______(10A Fuse)___________/---------|-1--2-|-------to fuel pump pin 106 or 104 on your ecu <<<<signal circuit (split)\---------|3o--o5|-------to fuel pump------ground to chassis <<<<<power circuit |
