throttle cable help

im having a hard time with my throttle cable.

i had a ka throttle body on my sr and when i swtiched it back to the sr throttle body seems short.... like really short... so short that when i put the cable on, the throttle is open about 25-35%.....

on another note my car had a makeshift bracket for the throttle cable. (you know, the one on the intake manifold) so i picked up the oem throttle cable holder bracket thing. could that be the problem???

anyone have any solutions for me??

will a throttle cable from a ka work on my sr set up??

or is their a way to alter my cable to make it longer???

thanks guys, you guys never let me down before

Get a KA24DE cable, those are longer. My KA24E with a SR20 Redtop works fine, but it crosses over the valve cover. Why do you use a KA TBody on an SR?
