just guaging interest here. There's a huge car show in northeast Ohio (Youngstown) at the end of June. I've been throwing around the idea of trying to organize an all Nissan/Datsun meet for that weekend (June 28), please post if you'd be interested.

Yeah I would be interested. I am in southeast Ohio. I started a thread a while back that tried to get a meet going but no one ever threw out any dates. This may work if you can get out some dates and times. If I am available you can count me in for the show.

it would be for the weekend of June 28, that saturday. I have a good place to hold the meet initially, then I'm thinking everyone could head to the main strip that evening and show the public some strong support for the Datsun/Nissan community. It's just an idea right now. I'll come up with some better ideas if people show enough interest in this. It would be nice to actually have a decent turnout for once with some old Datsuns showing up and sharing the heritage of our cars. I saw some pics a while back of a meet like this which was held out in Cali, and it made me sick to think that no event ever held from the midwest to midatlantic has ever come close to matching the turnout they had.
