Solve the Mystery

Alright guys,

I have a Nissan 240sx KA24DET and running Nistune. I have yet to get the car running on the current set up due to a very odd set of problems/symptoms.

So I have all of the values and K constants verified and spot on. After setting Nistune up, I then tried starting it up. The car started up and I was able to keep it running by feathering the throttle, and while the car was running we had a timing light hooked up which was giving us an indication for some very strange/irradick spark. We tried swiveling the distributor back and forth to get the car to run better, but didn't make much of a difference. So we decided to set the number 1 cylinder back to TDC and adjust the distributor. After doing this the car would almost start up but wouldn't, and the more we try to start it after the first time it seems like its flooding. The strange thing is, is when I pull the spark plug out now to see if im getting spark there is spark. When i use the light, the light is indicating that there is no spark.

thanks guys....
