KA Any KA-Ters Break their stock rods?

So, Any KA-Ters Break their stock rods? just wanna kno if it commonly occurs. The price of them aftermarket rods are slapping me silly. I can live with the price of pistons.

Rods don't usually break due to power, but rather overheating or lack of oil. Ask Ace :P
Yea, rods are really expensive. They are reliable up to the 360rwhp levels, and after that, nobody has really attempted. How much power are you hoping for?

the other reason to get stronger rods is to raise the redline because they are one of the two main limiting factors. The other is valve float.

the biggest thing that can help you drift is Skill.

You don't buy skill, you earn it.

Go to the drift events, and get instruction from the instructors.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a San Diego Drift event in late July. I suggest you attend that.

However, if you do insist on finding some 'miracle' hardware to help you drift, get a 2-way clutch type lsd.

Your KA stock has plenty of power to get you to drift. Anyone that tells you otherwise is a mere -twit-.

go stick in a stock block then. if your intents are to work on drifting, save money and stay off that ka-t for the time being.

if you need a block, my friend in torrance might have one plus a head for you from a 91. uhm.. don't expect there to be any internals left though.
