SR got a 240!!

tuesday night i got a 1992 maroon 240sx coupe 5sp. it has 211,000 miles. it runs but the hazards wont go off even after i push the button for them to go off and took the fuse out. but that doesnt realy matter since i only payed $468 for the car. i got it at an auto auction. the only damage to the exterier is the front fender is dented and the roof clear coat is chipping off. so far i took the back seats out and am in the middle of duing the DIY sleepy eyes. what other DIY is there to do with spending little money as possible?

if the car was well maintained, miles probably dont mean much. my s13 coupe has 198k, and my s14 has 178k, the s14 runs great, i drive it every day, the whole 3 miles to work and back

The clutch slips when you slam it thats one more thing i forgot to mention. i have a question too. how the hell do i get the shift knob off? I have one that i want to put on but i can't get the stock one off. if i can't get it off i will keep it, its not that bad. the car was being sold by a dealer at a public auction. there was only one other guy that bid on the car.

Get a towel and twist like hell?

Or, do what I did, wrap it in a towel, slap a pipe wrench on it, and be careful not to break anything :P
