0hp, as it's in the garage right now. Once the engine is in, somewhere between 175 and 180 bhp.

well, lets see... my car came from the factory with 140 hp, (sohc) and I have an open element exhaust and a 2.5" crush bent exhaust... so add those in and it would be like, 145 probably, and then add on 160,000 miles of abuse, I'm thinking total rear wheel horsepower is probably in the area of 30 or maybe 32.

yeah if my stock engine wasn't so close to dead I'd probably stay stock too. 160 hp is plenty if you know how to point it.

I don't think I'm anywhere near 1 horsepower. I can't move 720 pounds one foot in one second. Maybe like 200 pounds a foot per second.. so that's like 1/3.5 of a horsepower.
See.. horses are like 1500 pounds, and pretty strong. I'm like... 170 pounds, and pretty strong.. but not as strong as a horse.

My car is zero horsepower.. unless I'm pushing it... then it's 1/3.5 of a horsepower.
And finally.. my engine is in the neighborhood of 450 CRANK horsepower... cuz it's not attached to any wheels to measure rear wheel horsepower.

it doesn't feel much faster than my scirocco 16v did when it was running right, so i'm guessing it's putting out about 130 hp at the crank. she's burning a little oil.

I'm guessing right around 200rwhp.
I'd love to dyno, but there isn't an accessible one within 300 miles of me (at least that I know of)
