There's a huge difference in price between a OEM R33 engine harness ($150 or so) and a standalone plus it's harness ($1200+). Is the motor stock? Do you have the S1 ECU?

I could fabricate a tucked and loomed harness for you that would plug into your stock ECU if you're interested in going the 'baller' route, or you could locate a S1 harness on the forums and just plug it in.

If you want to go standalone down the road, you'll need a harness to start with regardless.
