S13 owners post your sound setups!

hey everyone. well i am gonna start looking for mild sound for my car (nothing big just front door speakers and small tweeters on the doors, headunit) wondering what everyone has. i am a complete moron with sound. so just trying to gather up some info on what S13 owners use. MILD fabrication isnt hard for me so just tell me what you all have and how it sounds. thx

boston 4x6 in doors, polk audio 4x6 in rear, with bridged $20 walmart box that had two tweeters and a two 4inch woofers.

that 20 speaker thing in the back makes all the difference.

MB Quart 6.5's in the front
Alpine 6.5's in the back.
Rockford Fosgate Punch Power DVC 10" sub
Alpine V12 600w amp

stripped cars don't need sound systems. but sometimes i'd throw my kenwood excelon mp3 player in for the hell of it, and i've got some bazooka speakers in the doors. just two speakers, but i enjoy the sound of the engine, and the driving experiance. thats what makes the car enjoyable right?

i dont know what the heck i should do.
how about i tell you what im looking for. two options here.

one:
-go with some sort of head unit with an input for my mini disc.

-these on my doors Rockford Fosgate FNP2414

-or anyone of these speakers up front (they all fit) http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...size=4X6&cc=01

-No amp in this case or rear speakers. Maybe some oem rears that arent blown in stock location of the fastback.

Second option:

- run some amp to be determined but have the line routed to the front of the car for the input. Run my minidisc straight into the amp

- again same front speakers as above but will that work with no head unit? and will my mini disc sound nice? its a higher end MD from sony.

thx
yan

EDIT: im looking for crisp sound. nothing too crazy just some decent bass and somethign that i could drive in the car with the windows down and still hear. i listen to alot of vocal jazz so decent bass and good voice is what im looking for. all the subs ive heard are just too strong for me it seems. plus they weigh and i hate that ****.

okay here's the "ish" setup:

Kenwood Excelon mP3 deck--i got it for $150 from my friend that works @ a car audio shop, b/c it was last years display model.(yeah!)
Some memphis kevlar woven 4x6's and memphis woven 6 1/2" woofer in the back of my coupe. i have an mtx 4000thunder 10" sub with box and 250watt legacy amp, but i dont think i want it, and will prolly sell. i'm proud of my semi cheap setup

depends what i want to listen to...

choice one (chicks like)
pioneer cd player (forget specifics)
no-name components in doors, mid & tweet
pioneer 6x9's in rears
2 rockford fosgate 10's in bandpass box (heavy as sin)
crunch 600watt amp to subs

choice 2 (i like)
stripped interior
apex RS turbo

my "system" doesnt really matter to me, when i get my engine swap im going to permanently strip out the car, just motor, seat (notice singular) and rollcage, hehe, daily driven.
