those lenses are useless unless you install a set of projectors or custom reflector assembly (lexus IS, for example) behind that main lens. This is a HUGE job, I cant imagine anyone taking advantage of this product unless they are good at fabricating lights and are familiar with working with lights/plastics.

Retrofitting something simple like a projector behind the clear lense won't work?
If it does ill be looking to find some junkyard projectors... ![]()

haha good call
![]() But if u get stock HID projects, and aim them correctly, the light output will be perfect. hmmm. . wonder how Z33 projectors would fit? Also, I've never taken my lights apart. . but the projectors in my 97 240sx seem to be an entirely seperate part.

Maeda I'm looking for NON HID projectors, for the simple reason that I don't need any MORE reasons to be pulled over. =)
Factory 4300k HID wont get you pulled over. Its the 6000k and higher HID components that will be more likely to attract that kind of negative attention from the law. Use quality HID components and legality will be the last of your worries. koukis14 May I suggest. . . BMW E46 xenon? BMW, Audi, Infiniti, whatever. The important thing is focusing on doing a good conversion with a clean execution, not so much the projector and where it is from. Just make sure to use quality components, thats all. |
