A/C with SR20DET
I live in AZ. It's hot all the time so I need a/c or I'm not doing the motor swap without it. What does it take to get the a/c working after the SR20DET is installed, either using the KA compressor or the other??
P.S. - I searched! Thanks, Ryan |

there should have been many threads on ACs and SRs..
But the most important issue is what engine and what chassis you're working with. S13->S13s work with existing AC piping. S13/S14->S14 require piping fabrication. In both cases, the wiring harness has to be done.

on my swap, the KA AC compressor line blocked the turbo inlet a bit and we had to alter it...

phase2motortrend.com used the Clips SR compressor on my S14 engine to s14 chassis swap. Works great but u need to make custom A/c lines and the wiring is pretty tedious.
