Hey guys this shit worked before I put this new motor in but for some reason now it isnt working. The dash lights come on and I think the gas gauge works but everything else does not.

This is a problem because I don't have an aftermarket temp gauge, any help is appreciated thanks.

And I also have all 3 connections connected properly.

What motor, what chassis, with that said this could help..

If you swapped in a sr from a s14 into a s13 it could be the temp sensor is wrong, you need one that goes with you car(chassis) also if you put a duel cam, or sr20det in a sohc s13 the cluster(tach) wont work... speedo could be the vss(you need the one that maches the cluster you have, s14-s14, s13-s13, and so on)

Check fuses also...

I checked all the fuses and changed out the bad ones, only difference is the clock came on the cluster.

It's a s13 blacktop and I have a jdm cluster, everything is the same from my last engine except it was a redtop and everything worked.

Wiring diffrent between the redtop and blacktop harnesses???

so your using the same cluster but have a new motor. is there anyway you can take out your temp sensor out of the old motor? and did you keep the same tranny or get a different one with the blacktop? maybe you have the wrong speed sensor it wasnt plugged in.
